A second tsunami hit Indonesia, this time on the island of Java, the same area that was rocked by an major earthquake just seven weeks ago. The tsunami was caused by an magnitude 7.2 earthquake on the Richter scale off the southern coast of Java.
This is going to be interesting, since we've been planning on heading down there ever since the May earthquake.

Looks like we are being planned to do a reconnaissance trip to Yogyakarta on the island on Java. A 6.3 earthquake hit near Yogyakarta on 27 May 2006 causing widespread building damage. Elizabeth was there a few weeks ago and said Mount Merapi is still spewing out large amounts of smoke. Tim on the other hand said he won't go anywhere near that area while the volcano is rumbling. But what fun would that be??
