Lord of the Flies weekend
So it's this coming weekend. We are camping on an uninhabited island, Pulau Kreureusik (5º 38' 11"N, 95º 04' 24"E). This island is part of the Pulo Aceh chain of islands that spread out into the Indian Ocean from the tip of Sumatra. It has a sweet beach on its eastern end, as I discovered from using Google Earth. No houses, no roads, no wells, no toilets, no warungs, no bule shop, no locals. This will be backcountry camping, and it'll be a welcomed escape!
